Jonas Schmidt is the visionary founder behind Studyquick. He hails from Germany, with an extensive experience in the field of software and online marketing.
He is a former team leader of an educational software team and has dedicated his career to revolutionizing education.
With his academic background in economics and a passion for entrepreneurship, he has single-handedly developed Studyquick, transforming it into a groundbreaking AI learning platform.
2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER? A Truth Founder is someone who builds their venture based on authenticity and integrity.
They don't just create products for profit but solve genuine problems while staying true to their core values.
They are transparent with their customers, investors, and team, striving to make a positive impact on the world through their vision.
3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER?
I was inspired by my journey as a marketing manager and head of product, where I realized the inefficiencies in learning and the need for personalized education.
Witnessing students struggle with stress and a lack of accessible learning tools, I saw an opportunity to bridge this gap using AI.
My past successes in driving significant growth for previous companies also gave me the confidence to launch Studyquick.
4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? I start my day with a morning workout to boost my energy and focus, followed by reading industry news to stay up-to-date. I then review my goals for the day and spends some quiet time reflecting on my mission before diving into work.
5. WHAT MANTRA,QUOTE,LINE OR PHRASE DO YOU SAY OFTEN TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOURSELF? Goals are not there to be achieved. Rather they should be the North Star that points us in the right direction. The lighthouse in the distance for starving sailors.
6. WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR VENTURE? People should care about Studyquick because it addresses a fundamental challenge in education: accessible and efficient learning. By leveraging AI, Studyquick provides personalized study materials, reducing learning stress and increasing academic success for millions of students and educational institutions.
7. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE YOUR VENTURE A SUCCESS?
My extensive background in online marketing and software development, combined with my personal drive and passion for education, uniquely positions me to lead Studyquick to success.
I have already proven my ability to scale businesses, and my deep understanding of the market gives me a unique edge.

I don't believe in limiting students' potential with outdated learning methods.
I believe technology should serve the needs of learners, not the other way around.
I don't believe any student should be left behind due to a lack of resources.
10. WHAT'S ONE DECISION YOU MADE AS A FOUNDER THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF YOUR JOURNEY? My decision to focus on AI-generated mock exams and personalized learning materials completely transformed Studyquick's trajectory. It differentiated the platform from competitors and provided unique value to students and institutions.
11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? Personally: Achieving significant growth for previous companies and being recognized as a leader in online marketing.
As a Founder: Building Studyquick from scratch and gaining over 1000 users for our MVP, while turning more than 100 into paying customers.
12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? I like my perseverance and resilience the most.
No matter the obstacles or setbacks, I keep pushing forward, determined to reach my goals.
My experience as a track and field athlete taught me the value of discipline and persistence, traits that have carried over into my entrepreneurial journey.
These qualities have helped me build Studyquick from scratch, through every challenge.
13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?
I could improve my work-life balance.
My passion for Studyquick often leads to long hours, and I sometimes neglect personal relaxation and time with loved ones.
I haven't improved it yet because I'm deeply invested in Studyquick's growth, and it's challenging to step away. However, I've recognized the need to balance personal well-being with work and am taking steps to manage my time better.
14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH?
The best advice I've received is: "Don't aim for perfection; aim for progress." This has been crucial in guiding my approach to Studyquick, allowing us to launch our MVP and iterate based on user feedback rather than waiting for a "perfect" product.
It's better to learn and evolve quickly than to be paralyzed by the pursuit of flawlessness.
15. ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 - 10 BEING THE BEST. HOW WELL DO YOU THINK YOU AND YOUR TRUTH STORY IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY YOUR COMMUNITY? ( WHY NOT 10? ) I'd say it's a 7.
The Studyquick community understands my vision for democratizing efficient learning. However, I think it could be clearer how my personal journey and background directly relate to the company's mission.

16. WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE AND WHY? I admire Elon Musk for his relentless drive to push boundaries and create impactful innovations.
His ability to dream big, embrace risks, and work towards ambitious goals, despite setbacks and criticism, inspires me to stay focused on the long-term vision for Studyquick.

18. WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT MISSION STATEMENT OR MESSAGE + MARKET FIT FOR YOUR VENTURE?
Mission Statement: Revolutionize education by leveraging AI to create a personalized, efficient, and rewarding learning experience.
Market Fit: We target university students and educational institutions struggling with stress and outdated learning methods.

19. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO TO UNWIND AFTER A LONG WORK DAY?
I enjoy going for a run or workout session to clear my mind and reconnect with my athletic roots.
I also like reading non-fiction, particularly biographies and business books, for inspiration.
20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU TREATED YOURSELF TO AND WHAT DID YOU CELEBRATE? I treated myself to a new pair of running shoes after reaching a significant milestone for Studyquick's profitability goals.
We broke even in March, a big win that symbolizes Studyquick's growing stability and potential.
