My TRUTH Story:
1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON TO A CROWD OF 10,000+ PEOPLE? Twin Sisters, Jale & Lale parents migrated to Germany from Turkey in the 1970s & 1980s, And they are 2 of 4 siblings. Just two years ago, their mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and they realised just how quickly life can change. This time was very difficult for her and her sister as they spent a lot of time in hospitals and with doctors. In this difficult phase, they also lost their grandmother and aunt to the Covid 19 Virus. Watching their strong woman fight for her life, they also saw so many regrets their mother felt in her life. This experience inspired Jale and her twin sister to start their own brand so they would never end up saying to themselves, "If only we had dared".
2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER? A Truth Founder firmly believes that life doesn't wait for anyone.
3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER? Being part of a founding family, we were encouraged to be entrepreneurial from an early age. We learned early in life that we must fight hard to achieve our goals. As people with a migration background, we were confronted with the fact that we were different at a young age. This experience has made us fighters. As twins, we always dreamed of expressing our creative side in fashion. But we didn't dare to pursue this dream for a long time. After all, we came from a small village in Germany - who would spot us there? But several strokes of fate within the family meant that we found the courage to pursue our dreams.
4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? My morning routine starts with making a delicious hot coffee first. As soon as the smell of fresh coffee wafts through the house, I feel a little livelier. Then I sit down at my desk and read all my e-mails. I work through them in order to ensure that no important information or tasks are overlooked. It's an efficient way to start my day and prepare for the tasks ahead.
5. WHAT MANTRA,QUOTE,LINE OR PHRASE DO YOU SAY OFTEN TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOURSELF? "Success is no coincidence, but the result of perseverance, dedication and continuous development." This phrase can convey an inspirational and motivational message to spur yourself on. It reminds us that success does not come simply from luck, but from continuous effort, passion and the desire for personal development. By keeping this mantra in mind, one can remind oneself that the road to success is paved with perseverance and dedication.
6. WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR VENTURE? We offer high quality shoes made with genuine leather and craftsmanship. Our company is based in Istanbul while our brand was founded in Germany. At a time when traditional craftsmanship in shoemaking is almost exclusively associated with Italy, we are proud to be the only atelier in Turkey with our own showroom and production facility.
Our shoes are designed in-house by our talented team and manufactured right in our own company. We do not rely on third parties, but have control over the entire production process. This allows us to ensure an exceptional level of quality.
Every single piece is made with the utmost care and precision. We are convinced that our products can compete with the best shoe manufacturers. In addition to our promise of quality, we attach great importance to reliability, trustworthiness and honesty. Our customers can rest assured that our products will meet their expectations and are of excellent quality.
We are also proud that sustainability and fair trade are our focus. With our income we want to support social projects, especially the construction of village schools in Eastern Anatolia. 7. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE YOUR VENTURE A SUCCESS? Because faith and courage is our key to success!
8. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR YOU PERSONALLY AND FOR YOUR VENTURE? Success for our company is based on several important factors. One of them is effective teamwork. We firmly believe that every decision, be it operational or strategic, should be made in close consultation with the team. The diversity of perspectives and the combination of different expertise contribute to the quality of our decisions. Another fundamental requirement for success is a well-organized corporate structure. If the internal procedures and processes are clearly defined and designed efficiently, stumbling blocks can be avoided. Each employee should understand their role and how their contribution contributes to the overall success of the company. Well-organized production, which is closely monitored by our foreman, is particularly important. With wise planning and monitoring, we can ensure our products are defect-free and of high quality. A smooth production flow is crucial to satisfy the customer and meet their expectations. In addition to production, marketing also plays a crucial role in our success. Here we rely on the expertise of professional consultants to develop and coordinate our marketing strategies. Careful planning, targeted communication and creative approaches are essential to reach our target group and successfully position our brand. 11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? We have reached many people within a very short time. We have dressed famous people and our products have been featured in German magazines. In just 12 months, it was a huge success!
12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? My patience and ambition! I never give up...
13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?
Sometimes I don't want to give up control because I don't think it could work otherwise. Basically, I should learn to hand over some things.
14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH? We have never been discouraged by a lack of advice. Instead of waiting for someone to point us in the right direction, we believed in ourselves. We have realized that failures and setbacks are a natural part of life and can keep us moving forward. Many people may rejoice in the failures of others, but we have learned to embrace such events with open arms. We understand that not everything can and should be perfect. Through these experiences we have learned to challenge ourselves and create better structures. Every mistake and every difficulty helped us to develop and improve our skills. We are proud that we had the courage to go our own way and to believe in ourselves. We know that life will always bring us challenges and we are ready to accept them. Because only through these experiences can we grow, learn and develop into a stronger and more successful organization. We want to encourage other people to believe in themselves and pursue their own dreams. We see failure as an opportunity to learn to grow and create better structures. With confidence and determination we continue on our way and look forward to the challenges that life brings us.

16. WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE AND WHY? I admire strong women with a lot of self-confidence. There are many inspiring women who impress us with their assertiveness and determination. Among them is Anine Bing, a remarkable personality who leaves a lasting impression. With her own fashion label, she has created a unique brand and made a name for herself in the fashion industry. She embodies the ideal of a strong woman pursuing her passion while building her own business. Her confident and individual style is inspiring. Women like her are role models who remind us that we can and should go our own way.
17. DESCRIBE YOUR VENTURE - ELEVATOR PITCH STYLE? At JLTWINSSHOP we produce high-quality shoes that boast genuine leather and craftsmanship. Our company, based in Istanbul and founded in Germany, combines traditional shoemaking with modern design. What sets us apart from others? We are the only atelier in Turkey that has its own production facility and showroom. With a talented team of the best people in footwear manufacturing, we manufacture our products directly in-house - without the use of third-party suppliers.

19. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO TO UNWIND AFTER A LONG WORK DAY?
After a long day at work, there is nothing more relaxing for me than taking a soothing bath. I fill the bathtub with warm water, let a few scented candles flicker and immerse myself in an oasis of calm and relaxation. The feeling of warm water just lets the stress of the day melt away from me. Alternatively, I find cooking with music in the background very relaxing. I am inspired by the sounds of my favorite music and let my creativity run free in the kitchen. The chopping of fresh ingredients, the stirring of pots and pans, the smell of delicious flavors - all this creates a calming atmosphere and makes me forget the stress of the day. It's a meditative process where I focus entirely on the cooking and being in tune with the flavors and sounds of the kitchen. Both bathing and cooking with music in the background are wonderful ways for me to relax and leave the stress of everyday life behind. These are moments of self-care, in which I can concentrate fully on myself and recharge my batteries.
20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU TREATED YOURSELF TO AND WHAT DID YOU CELEBRATE? Recently, I treated myself to a large piece of chocolate. There were a few moments to celebrate, but what comes to mind spontaneously is a successful customer order.
