''We spend a lifetime finding our truths, but when we do, we want to shout it from the rooftops''

Aaron is the Founder of Epic Test Quest - The World's First AI-powered SaaS Tool To Democratize And Gamify Software Testing. He has taken the challenge to answer our 20 Truth Questions, For us to gain some insight, And learn the Truth about the person behind the venture.

My TRUTH Story:

1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON TO A CROWD OF 10,000+ PEOPLE?

Aaron is the co-founder and CEO of Epic Test Quest; The world's first SaaS tool to democratize and gamify software testing. He has founded and ran projects all over the world, from the governmental health sector in Vancouver, Canada, to refugee camps in Bangladesh, to animal rescue ops in Thailand, and eco-tourism and disaster management ops in the Philippines.

He was born in Dubai, grew up in Ethiopia, India, and Canada, and calls Vancouver his permanent home-base, But Berlin has been home for three years now, and will continue to be so for a little while longer.

2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER?

A Truth Founder is someone who has struggled and fought their way through life to find meaning, or truth, in who they are. Their own, personal meaning.

We spend a lifetime finding our truths, but when we do, we want to shout it from the rooftops. And, second to that, start our own business so that we can shout it from stages to anyone who will hear it!

3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER?

Now THIS is a story and a half! For the full story, ping me and we'll chat.

In short, my partner and I struggled for years to make the world a better place, all culminating in a year plus stint in politics. This taught us everything we needed to know about the realities of achieving our goal by treading on previously walked ground.

So we decided to carve our own path in this world, become obscenely rich, and then use all of that money to actually launch and fund all of the animal and nature welfare projects we wanted to do in the first place.

4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? I wake up with my partner, check in that she is ready to wake up, put on some Indie/Folk morning music over YouTube, freshen up, have a good, long hug with my partner, check my weight, shave and shower, have our morning protein shake together, get 1000 steps, and then start working. Seven days a week.

5. WHAT MANTRA,QUOTE,LINE OR PHRASE DO YOU SAY OFTEN TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOURSELF? "The most important time is right now; the most important person is the one I'm with; the most important thing to do is to love". Also, "be patient". And, lastly and most importantly...well, I'll tell you that when I see you.

6. WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR VENTURE? Well, to be fair, our venture isn't exactly the sexiest in the world: democratizing and gamifying software testing. That said, it's one of those things that, when it isn't done, you feel the impacts of it severely. Hospitals stop functioning, airlines are grounded, banking stops.

We have two primary goals: first, to make the lives of software testers drastically better, improving their efficiency by over 25%; second: to create a tool that can empower anyone to test their software competently and securely.

We do this to support the UN SDGs 8 and 10, as we don't believe that anyone should be limited in deploying high quality products based on what financial resources they have available.

7. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE YOUR VENTURE A SUCCESS?

That's easy: my partner is a super well-known personality in the software testing space, which she has been in for over 15 years. And she is well-positioned in a community of 150,000 members.

That, combined with my single-minded desire to create something successful at the cost of all else, just so that we can achieve the goal of helping our planet one way or the other, has created a recipe for success.

8. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR VENTURE? ( START WITH: IMAGINE A WORLD... WHAT IF... WE WILL BE... )

Imagine a world where no more bugs exist in any software you use. If you are a manual software tester, you are actually really looking forward to getting to work that day. And if you aren't a software tester, you aren't worried about whether the software you want to deploy will have any bugs you missed that could kill your reputation.

9. ANSWER THESE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE - I BELIEVE... I DON'T BELIEVE... I believe that we aren't limited to our current beliefs, expectations, and capabilities.

10. WHAT'S ONE DECISION YOU MADE AS A FOUNDER THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF YOUR JOURNEY? The decision was that we shouldn't wait for someone else to accomplish the goal we want to accomplish.

Deciding to take the reins of our own fate. This took us from creating projects and proposals to creating businesses and pathways.

11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? My greatest success story is touching enlightenment when I had a brief stint as a Buddhist monk in Thailand.

As a Founder, my greatest success is to be part of a team of three incredible people. With this team, any idea is a potentially wildly successful idea.

12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? I most appreciate my ability to empathize deeply with those I am around. To make them smile and laugh easily. And, equally, my ability to facilitate. I think the most important aspect of a CEO is the ability to bring out the ideas in others and shape all of the ideas together, as a team, into an opportunity.

13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?

I would improve my ability to be comfortable on social media. I have a deep distaste for the entire concept of social media but I understand the business value it provides. So the reason I have not overcome this aspect of myself is because of sheer stubbornness and deep-seeded discomfort.

14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH?

"Are babies going to die from the decision you are about to make." Granted, I was deploying highly critical medical systems at the time, but the point still stands, and is a good way to stay calm in any situation.

15. ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 - 10 BEING THE BEST. HOW WELL DO YOU THINK YOU AND YOUR TRUTH STORY IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY YOUR COMMUNITY? ( WHY NOT 10? ) 5. Frankly because I haven't really looked into a community to pitch it to. And when I pitch, I tend not to include truth stories but to speak about the business and how we can solve the problems the target market has.

16. WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE AND WHY? My friend and one-time mentor.

He taught me that the only one limiting my potential and opportunities is myself.

17. DESCRIBE YOUR VENTURE - ELEVATOR PITCH STYLE?

We are Epic Test Quest, the world's first AI-powered SaaS tool to democratize and gamify software testing.

Think of us like your very own GPT4o, to help you test software like a pro. Our tool, through a fully facilitated process, helps you thoroughly understand the risks of your software and features, automatically generate test cases from simple visual and text inputs, create fantastic prioritized test plans, and generate robust reports and analytics that can even help you predict future risk-prone areas.

We drastically improve your performance and your efficiency, and ensure that you are only deploying the highest quality software possible.

18. WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT MISSION STATEMENT OR MESSAGE + MARKET FIT FOR YOUR VENTURE?

Our Mission Statement: Building the most incredible tool that drastically improves current manual testing processes.

Our Market Fit: Larger teams, especially those in scale-ups, enterprises, and governments, who prioritize shipping the highest quality software and to whom bugs are the bane of all things.

19. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO TO UNWIND AFTER A LONG WORK DAY?

Working out, reading, and gaming are my top three.

Volunteering, where possible, and otherwise just planning what to work on next!

20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU TREATED YOURSELF TO AND WHAT DID YOU CELEBRATE? A roadtrip across Switzerland. We celebrated getting into the SIBB Startup Incubator program, sponsored by the EU and Berlin governments. It was a good affirmation of our potential.

BONUS QUESTION: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SAY TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT ARE SUPPORTING YOU ON YOUR AMBITIOUS JOURNEY?
